It all began with Java on the Client as Applets but pretty soon there was a stumbling block. Java could not integrate seamlessly into the HTML web pages. There was quite an opportunity, however, on the server for use of Java because of its portability, scalability and robustness. At the same time, enormous work has been done for Java on the client in the past couple of years like better and faster JVM implementations, better Java Plug-ins for browsers and the new Java WebStart Technology. Quite an interesting future ahead..

The Servlet Examples above are packaged and accessible as a Web Application at WebAppCabaret. Due to Banner Ads conflicting with multiple frame output of the "Check Domain" example, the results are unpredictable for that example.
